Summary

Alimtalk age verification was added, and SMO history lookup and Brand Message video management were expanded.

What changed?

1. Alimtalk age verification (adultFlag)

For content that requires youth protection, you can now show the message only to users who have passed adult verification.

What is an age-verified message?

• It blocks content unsuitable for users under 20 and shows the message only to adults
• Before verification the message is 'covered'; the content becomes visible after adult verification

Where it applies

• Content not suitable for minors (games, adult content, and so on)
• Age-restricted products such as alcohol and e-cigarette devices

How to set it

• Check 'Age verification setting' when you register the Alimtalk template

How it behaves

• Before verification the message is shown in a covered state
• The push notification is replaced with "This message requires age verification."
• The chatroom can be disabled before verification
• Cannot be combined with preview or secure templates

2. SMO history lookup

You can now look up the history of the MO (inbound message) flow.

• Trace user reply messages
• Better visibility into two-way messaging operations

3. Premium video management for Brand Message

You can now manage premium video content in Brand Message.

• Wider video content operations
• More expressive messages and greater marketing value

Things to note

• Age verification does not permit all adult content; material prohibited by policy cannot be sent.
• Age-verified content may be restricted for some message types (coupons, live, new product notices, and so on).
• Age verification, secure templates, and preview messages cannot be combined.
• Sending relevant messages without age verification applied can result in send restrictions or channel sanctions.
• Alimtalk review approval does not guarantee legal compliance; responsibility for the actual send rests with the sender.
