Summary

Channels that belong to the same group can share templates, and an already approved template can be sent immediately without another review.

At a glance

  • Applies to: channels bound together as a Kakao group channel
  • Key features: template sharing and joint use, no re-review for already approved templates
  • Where to start: check the group channel information in console [Channel management > Channel detail]

What changed?

  • Group-level template sharing: channels in the same group can use the same template
  • Immediate use of approved templates: a template reviewed on one channel can be sent from other channels in the group with no extra review
  • Group shown on the channel profile: the channel detail screen lists the group channels so you can see membership quickly

Why it matters

  • Shorter lead time: roll out campaigns without waiting on another review
  • Higher operational efficiency: use the same template across channels without registering and maintaining duplicates
  • Consistent branding: keep copy, button layout, and other template details to one standard across the group

How to use it

  1. Check the group and membership: on the channel detail screen, see which group channel this channel belongs to.
  2. Prepare the template: register and complete review on the reference channel in the group.
  3. Use it jointly: pick that approved template on another channel in the same group and send. (no extra review needed)
  4. Operate: review per-channel performance in Statistics, and refine the template to apply improvements across the group.

Things to note

  • Creating a group and adding channels to it requires a separate request.
  • Sharing is limited to inside the group. It does not apply to channels outside the group.
  • Template content (brand and policy notices, opt-out, and so on) must satisfy each channel's policies and operating standards.
  • Editing a template can affect the whole group, so review changes before you publish them.
  • Who can configure or change group channels, and where, may differ by organization and environment.
