light bulbOverview

Brand Message sending now runs on the shared SDK-based send module.
This update newly supports failover (an automatic switch to SMS/LMS), which was not available before.

Key updates

โ–  Failover is now supported

  • When a Brand Message fails, it now switches automatically to SMS/LMS.
  • Use "Load content" at the top to bring the original message body across as-is.
  • Brand Message is a promotional message, so the failover message is sent as a promotional message too.

โ–  Send UI/UX

  • Failover settings are folded into the options on the existing send screen, which simplifies the setup flow.
  • The recipient grid was upgraded so adding and deleting rows and editing recipients is straightforward.

โ–  Test send

  • Test send variables used to be substituted with fixed values; you can now set them yourself.

What you get

๐Ÿ’ก For customers

  • When a Brand Message fails it falls back to SMS/LMS automatically, which raises the delivery rate.
  • Loading the body shortens the rewrite step, so you get through the work faster.
  • Setting variable values directly on a test send makes pre-send verification more accurate.

โš™๏ธ For operations

  • A unified send UI and a cleaner option structure simplify setup and make operations easier.
  • The upgraded recipient grid makes editing and verifying large recipient lists easier.
  • A shared-module architecture improves maintenance efficiency during redesigns and incident response.

Notes

  • Brand Message is classified as a promotional message, and its failover message is treated as promotional too.
  • Use the "Load content" function at the top to pull the original message body in automatically.
